Facilities & Hire

Corby AC has an eight lane 400m floodlit all weather track, with a 12 lane straight. The covered stand beside the home straight seats 992 people. The field within the track and associated facilities are used for javelin, high jump, discus, shot put, hammer, pole vault, triple jump and long jump. There is a second long jump pit and triple jump pit situated between the track and the stand. The track is accessible to wheelchair users. The stadium has a perimeter security fence creating a safe environment for its users. There is a safety fence around the track and competition area. Grassy banks surround the track on three sides providing further seating and viewing at major events. There is a large car and bus park immediately adjacent to the stadium. Fire safety and risk assessments are available on request.

The clubhouse with refreshment facilities, changing rooms and athletics event equipment are available with the hire of the stadium. Many schools and community groups hire Corby AC for sports days and special events. We would like to involve more groups with wheelchair and other disabled athletes. The standard of the facilities is a fantastic encouragement to athletic achievement at all ages. All stadium and facilities hire is supported by the Corby AC stadium manager Alan Wymant. Corby AC is affiliated to UK Athletics, England Athletics, Midland Counties AA and Northamptonshire AA. Corby AC was the first athletics club in Northamptonshire to win the coveted Clubmark status, Sport England’s accreditation scheme for high quality community sports clubs.
